Anjini Dhawan Steps Into the Spotlight
Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan showed his unwavering support for his niece, Anjini Dhawan, as he attended the trailer launch of her debut film, Binny And Family, in Mumbai on Friday. Despite his family ties, Varun emphasized that Anjini’s success is entirely her own. He stated, “She is my niece, but I am here as sort of an elder brother… It is a good film, and that’s why I am here.” Reflecting on his own journey, Varun shared that his father, veteran filmmaker David Dhawan, never launched him, as their family does not follow such traditions. “We have no hand in what she has done, and it would be wrong for me to take credit for any of her success,” Varun added, quoted by PTI.
Varun Dhawan, who made his Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s 2012 film Student Of The Year, expressed immense pride in Anjini’s self-made journey. “Genuinely, she has done it on her own, and I am very proud of her for that,” he said, beaming with joy.
